DietSpotlight Burn = Avesil = Leptigen ?
What is the relationship between today’s Dietspotlight Burn and yesterday’s Leptigen and Avesil?
They are all manufactured and promoted by same company called “Green Bracket LLC”. The problem is not with the product, but how it was marketed. Just for reference let’s call the manufacturer as “Mr.Green’
Avesil came into market during early 2008 and the product started to decline after floods of consumer complaint. So, it was taken down from the market during 2013.
In 2013 Mr. 18 launched the same product with a new name. Now it is called Leptigen. Unlike Avesil, Leptigen couldn’t face consumer’s wrath for more than 3 years.
After slow-death of Leptigen, 18 Nutrition launches new product early in 2017 and calls it “Dietspotlight BUrn”

Aren’t “Free Trials” Supposed to be FREE?
Dietspotlight Burn is a new diet pill being marketed via the “Free Trial”. I believe the free trial is the dirtiest marketing tactic used today and only snake oil salesmen use it. But before we get into why the free trial is a scam artists dream come true let’s investigate whether Avesil is an effective weight loss product.
[I’m providing Avesil reference here. You can read it as Leptigen or Burn, because they are all same!]
Avesil contains 4 great ingredients. But…
- 150mg Green Tea
- 50mg Caffeine Anhydrous
- 133mcg Chromium polynucleotide (chromemate)
- 1500mg Garcinia Cambogia (citrimax)
All 4 ingredients are good additions to any diet pill. On the Avesil official website the tout a clinical study done on the ingredients in Avesil that have been proven to help users lose 300% more weight than done on diet and exercise alone. UNFORTUNATELY for potential Avesil customers this study was done on a combination of 3 ingredients… Avesil only uses two of the ingredients used in the weight loss study.
Another problem with Avesil is that they do not use the ACTUAL amounts of the ingredients that were used in the clinical study.
The study was done on a combination of:
1,555mg Super CitriMax
200mg Gymneme Sylvestre (Avesil does NOT use this ingredient which is very effective and synergistic with the other two).
So far you know Avesil contains Very Good ingredients… But not in Sufficient enough dosages to illicit visible weight loss effects. And not with the other ingredients used in the clinical studies… NOT GOOD!
What about Leptigen?
Leptigen = Avesil… there is absolutely no difference except name.
Burn TS Ingredients.
Burn’s Deceptive Billing System & Scam
Now let’s talk about Dietspotlight’s deceptive billing practices. Burnuses the dreaded “Free Trial” which is NOT EVEN FREE! You must pay $5.95 s&h. Why? This gives them your credit card information. And 14 days after trying Avesil they will bill your credit card $89.95 EVERY 30 DAYS (which they claim is a 22% discount).
Now $88.95 is a LOT of money to pay for a diet pill that does NOT use the clinically proven dosages of ingredients and doesn’t even use all the ingredients used in the actual study.
Even the FTC issued a warning saying “Free trials aren’t free“”
Good News About Burn HD?
The good news is that once you go to the Avesil/Leptigen/Dietspotlight Burn order form and click the “Back” button they offer you 75% off s&h (only $1.50 vs. $5.95). The BAD news is that they still have your credit card information and will Auto-Bill you $89.95 EVERY MONTH unless you cancel.
When you click the “Back” button NEVER RETURN!
Avesil’s Scam history
The Company sent 1000’s legal notices to people who posted negative reviews. Moreover, they even sent Copyright infringement notices to Google to remove genuine customer reviews from their search result.
You can find all the legal notices sent by Green Bracket to Google on Lumen Database
Leptigen Scam History
Just like Avesil you can also search for Leptigen’s historical scam on Google. It is good idea to key in “leptigen+complaints” on Google. Also, I recommend reading this review and this review [external sites]
Dietspotlight Burn: New Scam Hero
Burn is the new product recommended by independent consumer research website DietSpotlight.com. On top of that, there are several such review sites which promotes Burn as their #1 choice.
Burn uses slightly different ingredients from its elder siblings which I have already highlighted above. Finding a genuine review of ‘Burn Ts Fitkit’ on Google is difficult. You have to skip 1st page to avoid getting duped by Fake reviews. Legitimate reviews like this one is not getting prominence on search engines.
Avesil, Leptigen and Dietspotlight Burn Conclusion
There are far better diet pills currently available. If you must want to try Burn , then buy it directly from Amazon. That would save you from potential scam & nightmare. In my humble opinion, it is better to stay away from weight loss pills.
